Vintage Steelcase Rolling, Swiveling, Height Adjustable Metal & Vinyl Task Chair

Vintage Steelcase Rolling Chair This vintage piece stands out with its much better than average condition. The chair is relativly free of wear and the backrest and seat Vinyl pieces look excellent from the front and sides, though the headrest does have a couple worn spots along the back and bottom edges that have been doctored up to blend them in. There are close up pictures of these two areas. The rest of the headrest is very good little wear. The back side has some slight blemishes, but the metal on the whole is shiny and damage free, and the knob to adjust the height operates as it should. The vertical piece that holds the backrest is in good condition with no issues to report. The seat cushion is excellent with few signs of prior use to be found, and the underside looks good and still retains some of the original label from the chair's delivery when it was purchased new. The rear knob on the back needs some attention as the rubber spins on the metal it covers without producing any movement of the screw, otherwise all mechanical pieces in that area are fine and the seat swivels properly. The height adjustment mechanism functions as it should lowering and raing the seat, and it is in good physical shape. The legs look very good for the age, but are most likely not as shiny as they once were. There is no damage to them and the all look very good overall. The caster wheels have some very slight rust spots on the chrome, and the roll and rotate as intended.
