Vintage Nichols & Stone Windsor Fiddle Captain Maple Wood Colonial Arm Chair.   Nichols & Stone is believed to have been the oldest U.S. wood furniture plant when it closed in 2008 after 151 years as a producer of heirloom quality furniture. The company was purchased by Stickley. This chair has the markings which indicate it was manufactured circa 1950 and had had only one owner.  The chair is in excellent condition with some minor wear.
