This is a vintage Nichols and Stone University of Pennsylvania Windsor Armchair.
This chair is made of selected Northern Hardwoods and is a black / brown color. These chairs were given to MDs when they completed their training/residency programs and this one is from the University of Pennsylvania.
This chair measures Approx 34" tall x 22" long x 23" wide.
It is in fair condition. It has lots of paint wear in various places around the edges, legs, back, etc (see photos). It has some scratches and dings on the seat area. You could either keep the same (as it has lots of character) or re-finish it to look like new.
If you know anyone who went to the University of Pennsylvania, this would be a great gift.
