Penn Antique Restoration Antique Wooden Side Chair w/Pink Fabric Seat * The 2nd photo was taken inside under florescent lighting, and the rest were taken outside around sunset Elegant, antique chair salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It's made of solid wood (most likely maple or birch) and has a dark-colored stain. The backrest is caned and the seat is upholstered with a lovely, pink fabric. Notice the 2 small finials in the top corners of backrest and the 2 round, carved, concentric motifs in the lower corners--what great accents! Our carpenter inspected the chair and ottoman from top to bottom, and didn't need to make any repairs. He didn't need to glue or tighten anything else as the chair is strong and sturdy. The chair is in excellent condition with only nicks, light scratches, and small spots of worn finish that you would expect to find on an old, used furniture. There are no breaks, cracks, dents, gouges, rot, or warp. The fabric and caning are fully intact and clean with no rips, tears, odors, or stains. The webbing under the seat was replaced at some point and is fully intact and well-secured. This elegant chair is ready for another lifetime of service.
