This Balloon Back parlor chair is charming and has a beautiful needlepoint seat cushion. It was my grandmother's and is in the Victorian Rococo style and dates to the late 19th century.
The chair has some issues: the lower front wood edging is damaged and part of it is missing ( I do have that loose piece). One leg has a mark on it. The chair back has been re-glued. I've photographed close-ups of these issues for your review.
This chair is fragile and best used as an accent piece to a room and not a chair that is used to sit it very often.
