You can check the furniture with cleaning the surface of the teak wood with water soaked cloth. If you see colors or oil stains that means it is “C” Grade. This does not occur in Genuine Teak.

Grade A Teak has its own natural beauty with medium light natural color & s visible grain variations.

Chemically stained / treated furniture usually contains dark stains / color & uneven color variation due to application of chemical. This kind of chemically treated furniture will look nice in the beginning as top wood layers are treated to attract consumers but with in a very period of time you will notice its real quality which will results in breakage & makes it a bad investment.
