Two old Oak Pressback Dining Chairs featuring turned wood spindles, legs and stretcher bars ... and gorgeous carving in the back rests. Both chairs retain remnants of their Standard Chair Company, Gardner, MA label to the underside of the seat as shown. This is an early label for them, so these chairs go back ... 37.25" H and about 19" W x 18" D Both chairs are aged evenly, and display their age wonderfully in the form of marks and carvings mostly in the plank seats. There is wood chipped off the top corner edge of one of the chairs (see pic). They are structurally sound, solid and sturdy! You don't need to do anything to them, but you could certainly clean them up if you wanted.
