Original Seat Sacks, Chair

The Original Seat Sack made of sturdy denim material (as pictured) in standard 14 inch width 

Standard size is about 13.5-14 inches wide with a 10 inch pocket (5 in. tall to go over the seat back). This holds approx. a one inch binder, one hard covered book, and two notebooks. **If your chairs are larger, I can make a larger seat sack, approx. 17 inches wide (contact me for more info. and special pricing). 

I have been making and selling these seat sacks for over 20 years....WOW! I have been teaching 3rd grade for more than 20+years now and my seat sack/chair pocket idea stemmed from frustration with students forgetting to take home their books to complete homework. For nearly 5 months, I worked on an idea to put a "bag" on the back of their chair (I stepped on and slipped on books on the floor) to help the students become independent and organized with their homework. HENCE....the chair bag which transformed into a new name "seat sacks and chair pockets". So, I have been sewing these for 20 years and have altered and improved my product several times and truly feel that I have a PERFECT product. You will NOT be disappointed because I stand by MY product! I am proud to say that I have many, many return customers because they appreciate the quality of this product.

A great resource for classroom organization. They are VERY sturdy, double stitched at the stress points and made of a durable denim, medium/heavy weight denim fabric. Denim is my favorite fabric to work with because I am confident on the strength and durability.
