Mundus And Jacob & Josef J&j Kohn Antique Vintage Bentwood Cafe Chair

Vintage/Antique J & J Kohn & Mundus bentwood cafe chair with paper label on bottom. Not refinished, but sturdy and has lots of life left in it! Has some separation in the seat wrap, but it was like that when I bought it and has not caused a problem in the 30+ years I've had it. Has pressed shell pattern on seat. I bought this in the early 1990's in Houston, TX, Montrose off of Westheimer at an antique dealer's shop. Not positive of exact age. I think it was made between 1850-1899.
