Defco Formica Topped Table with Leaf & 2 Vinyl and Metal Chairs This is an attractive mid-century table and chair set in nice condition overall. It was purchased at JC Penney decades ago and has spent the past 30+ years in an attic. The table is solid and sits level on the floor with no wobbling. The top surface is nearly free of any blemishes. There are a couple tiny dings and some light scratches, otherwise it looks very nice, and the wood grain and gold trim along the outside edges looks excellent. There is light surface rust on the hardware underneath, and one wing nut is missing and has been replaced with a nut. All the parts on the underside of the table function properly. The legs are straight and damage free, but the paint was worn in spots, so the legs were repainted and now they look fine. The leaf is in the same very nice condition as the table surface, save for a ding on a top, right corner of the side. The chairs are also solid and sit level. The Vinyl has some wear around the edges, and there are a couple small worn-through spots on the top corners of the backrests. The small black marks seen on one seat are debris that may (or may not) be removable. Nothing beyond hot water was used to clean the seats. Like the table, the metal parts of the chairs received a paint job and all looks good.
