Mid-Century Maple Colonial Telephone Gossip Bench

Mid-Century Maple Colonial Telephone Gossip Bench. Solid and sturdy. It has a cubby for storage, I am sure phone books went in there at one point in its life. All hardware is original. This is a great bench to set by the door to remove shoes and place in the cubby, especially if you have a young pup in the house that likes the smell of your feet. It appears to be Ethan Allen but I could find no markings on it as such. It is solid wood, and a great addition to any retro decorated home. Shipping on this is a possibility but it would be a buyer cost, I can box up, but it is heavy. I do travel to Kansas City fairly often so delivery there is a possibility at no extra charge, prepaid before I leave home with it. I can lift it so I am guessing somewhere between 35# to 50#. The cubby is 9-1/2" wide by 10" tall, the seat area is 19" wide, 15" deep. It does have wear on it, simply because it is over 70 years old, but that just makes it real.
