French Antique Highly Carved Chestnut Gothic Throne Chair

This throne/arm chair is from France and dates to the early 1900's. It is highly carved from chestnut wood and finished to a warm dark color. The carvings are quite intricate throughout- note the detail in the figure at the top. There are some cracks in the chair towards the top in the crest and in the top panel (see photos). The leather is in excellent condition without holes or tears- only minor cracking. Overall this chair is in excellent antique condition with only minor imperfections. Dimensions: 62" tall, 27.5" deep and 27.75" wide (front to back). The height to the seat is 18.5" tall.
