GEORGE III WINDSOR ARM CHAIR England, circa 18th-19th Century Item # 906AKU05 A fine 18th century English windsor arm chair with a steam-bent rail over six full-length spindles flanking a scroll-cut splat featuring a pierced wheel motif in the upper and vasiform in the lower, it retains a gorgeous surface patina that is silky to the touch from years of rubbing and waxing. The bentwood arm rail wraps around the shaped elm seat raised over ring-turned and splayed legs. Measurements: 33.38" H x 21.25" W x 20.5" D x 16.88 H to seat Condition Report: Crack to left of steam-bent rail where it meets the arm rail. Minor surface wear and abrasions as expected.
