C. 2010 Eero Saarinen For Knoll Full-size Womb Chair

This is an original Womb lounge chair, designed by Eero Saarinen for Florence Knoll and Knoll Associates in 1948. This particular example was manufactured by Knoll in the USA circa 2010. The piece features a seat that is formed of foam-covered molded fiberglass, and it has tubular steel legs with a chrome finish. It is upholstered in a Crimson red boucle fabric and retains its original Knoll tag. The chair came from the office of an architectural firm in Manhattan and was well cared for.
The chair measures 34 inches long, 40 inches wide, and 36.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 16 inches, and an arm height of 20.5 inches. Overall, this chair is in very good condition with very light wear. Please see photos.
