ANTIQUE VINTAGE STRADIVARO SOLID WOOD WOODEN LYRE BACK SEWING CHAIR CABINET SEAT
Scranton Attic Antique "Stradivaro" Solid Wood Sewing Chair w/Storage CompartmentLovely, antique, sewing chair salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It is made of solid birch or walnut and has a fantastic, lyre-shaped motif in its backrest. The seat lifts up to reveal a storage cabinet underneath. The bottom of the cabinet is made of MDF.The vinyl covering the seat is stained and ripped. The hinges allowing the seat to lift up and down are tightly fastened and move freely.The chair has nicks, dents, scratches, and spots of worn finish here and there. However, this is typical wear that you would expect to find on an old, used chair; there are no breaks, cracks, or rot. All of the joints where 2 separate parts connect are tight. There is no play, jiggle, or looseness at any joint.
