Antique Signed Windsor Stool, Red & Black Paint, Millbury, MA, Circa

This well proportioned Windsor footstool or cricket, services in excellent as-found condition. Great wear and patina with strong areas of the old red & black paint intact. The underside is branded with most of it readable. I see “E R Holman” this may be the listed Windsor chair maker from the Worcester/Millbury in Massachusetts. It is believed his full name is Elijah R. Holman. This little stool is cute, but it begins to have historical interest, if indeed the stamp is the maker and not the owner. Dear perspective buyer, the ball is in your court.
