Rare Shaker Side Chair--looks identical to those sold and identified as being made by Shaker Community in Enfield, N.H.--c. 1830-1840--made by the Shaker's for there own use-- condition is very good--with original (reddish brown stain)--does show that it was used--wear--dings --etc.--untouched finish--marked #1 on 2nd slat (room number)--original reeded seat?--tilter's intact (one moves freely--i didn't try to force the other)--no damage or repairs--height to top of finial 41 1/2"--seat height 19"--seat width is 18" front and 14"back--
