We are offering today a beautiful high quality set of eight solid mahogany dining chairs that consists of two master arm chairs and six quality side chairs. Each chair has a serpentine crest rail and outswept ears above an open scrolled back splat with scrolled volutes. The trapezoidal seat frame with slip seat, covered in a textured persimmon fabric. Each chair with shaped seat rail, frontal cabriole legs with scallop shell and bellflower carved knees continuing to a pronounced ball and claw foot; the rear legs are backswept terminating in trifid feet. Armchairs have serpentine arms with knuckle hand grips on in-curved supports. This is a great set of heavy sturdy quality antique dining chairs and are in excellent condition and should serve you for many years of use. The size of the side chairs are 39” h x 24” w x 23” deep and the arm chairs are 40” h x 25” w x 23” d. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with rich color and natural patina.
