Antique Oak Commode Chamber Pot Potty Chair

***********************Location ****************** Listing is for a oak commode, complete. Round wood lid is/was cracked in half and has an old repair of 2 nails on each side, see photos. With the lid down, approximate measurements are: Top is 16 3/4" by 16 3/4", which overhangs the sides. Stands 18" tall (legs are 6" tall). Chamber pot is 7 3/8" tall, top diameter is 10", bottom 6". This has the wood in the bottom that holds the chamber pot in place, though is not nailed down. The removable seat (to access the chamber pot) is a secondary wood, might be pine since it's fairly light. I think the piece of wood that the chamber pot rests on may also be a secondary wood. Legs have varnish/color loss toward the bottom, see the last 3 photos for an idea of what I'm talking about. No other cracks, other than the round lid. SHIPPING: Furniture with legs I usually pack upside down, just figure if dropped hard the legs won't take a hard hit that way. Since the bottom is not nailed down, I'm planning on placing it against the seat, from the inside, then that will give a better place for the chamber pot to be placed, instead of being placed between the seat and bottom. So just remember to remove the chamber pot before standing the comode upright. I'll place a reminder note if it works out this way, or another way. S ee more details in photos shown.
