Antique French Chair

Such a lovely find!! ~*~ ~ an absolutely charming antique French wingback chair slipcover dating c1900 ~ constructed to slip over a small wingback ~*~ Small front skirt ~*~ so charming , this textile is both hand and machine stitched ~ this textile is a slipcover for a chair, made of a wonderful, woven check furnishing fabric with thin black and red stripe ~ ~*~     ~ ~*~. ( FF DG) MEASUREMENTS : This lovely slip cover was designed to fit a chair that measures approximately : 14 inch long by 16 wide back. and the seat would have been approx. 20 inches wide by 14 inches deep ~ The shirt falls approx. 13 inches ~ There is a lovely 4-5 inch dept on the splat cover ! ~ CONDITION:  I've freshly laundered this stunning textile and it's ready to use.  This piece has large holes on the seat ( please use the zoom feature on the photographs to view condition carefully) so is ideal for repair / patching.
