Being offered for sale is the antique CHILD SIZE, OAK WOOD, BANISTER BACK (w/ 5 turned wood spindles and a hand-carved dog profile bust (Golden Retriever?) )
SWIVEL / REVOLVING (adjustable height - 3" range)
PIANO / CAPTAIN'S / VANITY / OFFICE and/or MINIATURE ROLL-TOP DESK CHAIR (with (2) 2-spindled armrests and 4-footed pedestal style legs)
by unknown maker (no visible maker's mark(s) - most likely American, possibly British)
, from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess)

Good/Very Good antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear from normal use over the years (i.e. small dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, stains, etc.)
but NO breaks or repairs. Remains structurally stable and sits flat/level with no wobble. When chair is adjusted in higher positions, the seat wobbles a bit in all directions. This is a maker's design flaw (not having a second threaded point at the bottom of the leg assembly, leaving space for the rod to move around)
, NOT a break or defect. The movement is slight but noteworthy nonetheless. Outstanding, rich patina to all materials throughout. Gorgeous, very unique & ultra cute little chair!! See pics.
Measures 33-1/8" tall, overall & 14-1/8" to seat, when in lowest position. Adjustable height range is 3", so 36-1/8" tall overall & 17-1/8" to seat, when in highest position. Chair seat is 14" wide (at front edge)
x 13" deep, overall. There's 11" between the middle armrest spindles and 12" from backrest spindles to front edge. Feet are 14-1/2" square, at base. Weighs 12 lbs. 9.5 oz. PLEASE NOTE :
