This listing is for five vintage gatefold folding chairs made by Hamilton Cosco in the 1950s. The chairs are made of metal and the seat is textured vinyl. To open, the front legs fold out and the seat folds down on top of them. The chairs work well and are quite sturdy. Four of the chairs are the same design. The fifth is identical to the other four in size, color, and seat pattern...but the design of the seat back differs. The chairs are in good condition. While they work very well, they do have aesthetic wear. The metal has scrapes and chips in the finish...more on the back than the front. The seat pads have some age-related wear and a small hole or two in the vinyl on three of the chairs...but the holes are quite small and stable (they are not inclined to "run" or enlarge). Please review all photos carefully. There are closeups of the vinyl and a seat back to show the kind of wear to expect. When opened, the chairs are 31" tall, 15" deep, and 16" wide. These chairs are over 12 lbs each and, therefore, the set is very costly to ship...so I am offering a local pickup option on this item for those who can pick up from Hawthorne, NJ. Thank you for viewing this item!
