This is a set of six Anziano Dining Chairs, featuring a formed ebonized beech seat, atop a black powder-coated steel frame. This chair was designed by John Hutton in 1989, and produced by Donghia. This set is was produced circa 1990s and is in excellent condition for the age, showing very little wear at all. The chairs measure 20 inches wide by 20.5 inches deep, and 32.25 inches tall. The seat height is 18 inches. The price listed includes all six chairs. John Hutton designed the Anziano chair in 1989 specifically for the American Academy of Rome, an homage to the important silhouette of the Greek klismos chair. The chair was introduced in 1991 into the Donghia line.
