1970s Eames For Herman Miller Time Life Executive Desk Chair

This is an Eames Time Life Executive Desk Chair, model ES104, designed in 1961 by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller for the Time Life Building in New York. The piece features a polished aluminum frame and retains its original black leather upholstery. It has a four-star base and original casters. The chair swivels, reclines, and is height adjustable.
The Time Life chair measures 27 inches wide, 30 inches deep and 36 inches high. It has a seat height of 18.5 inches. The leather on this chair has developed a patina and exhibits some creases when looking closely. Overall the piece is in very good vintage condition, but it remains a previously owned vintage item that will show signs of light wear from use. Please see photos.
