1850 ANTIQUE SCHOOL DESK & CHAIR RARE AMERICANA FURNITURE DECOR CHILD KIDS.
One of a kind antique school house desk and chair, hand produced between 1850-1859 for a Tennessee schoolhouse! This absolutely charming child’s desk and matching chair are made with pine wood and cast iron of the time, desktop height is easily adjustable (see video and photos), has pencil groove and book cubby. Ladder back chair and desk are in EXCELLENT overall condition, were originally screwed into a schoolhouse floor and have custom made wood “shoes” for hardwood floors. These were added later and can easily be removed if desired. Desktop is 18” long, 12” wide and desk is 24” tall. Chair is 26” tall and chair seat is 14” wide. Shipping is available!
